Counselling Sessions
Counselling is not about advice-giving; it is about accompanying someone who is ready to explore themselves and their issues. It is about taking the time to focus on yourself. A session lasts fifty minutes and you will decide with your counsellor how many sessions you want. Every so often progress is reviewed to make sure that therapy is on track and that you are happy with your progress. You need to feel empowered to feel that you are taking ownership of your own mental well-being. It is a question of respecting your choices and your decisions.
Fees are thirty-five pounds for an initial session, then sixty pounds for subsequent individual sessions. These sessions last the standard therapeutic hour of fifty minutes. Couple sessions cost seventy-five pounds They last for seventy-five minutes. Some limited concessions are available for a maximum of twelve sessions.
